Meikyu Kingdom (迷宮キングダム , lit. Labyrinth Kingdom) aka Mayokin (迷キン) is a Japanese fantasy role-playing game designed by Touichirou Kawashima and Adventure Planning Service. Core rulebooks of the second edition is composed of two books, Oukoku Book (Kingdom Book; Players Handbook) and Meikyu Book (Labyrinth Book; Game Masters Guide).
The magical Dungeon Hazard turned the whole world (mountain, river, ground, etc.) into dungeons. Player characters explore and conquer dungeons for their kingdom and its people. The English title, Make you kingdom!!, is broken English (Make your kingdom would be correct) but has a double-meaning because it is pronounced similarly to the Japanese title Meikyu Kingdom. Its setting is cynical and pop culture references are common. For example, the monster known as the vorpal bunny is based on Wizardry and Monty Python's famous monster, but the illustration is of a bunny girl.
Player characters, called Landmakers, are members of a tiny kingdom's court: (Character classes are King, Knight, Vizier, Oracle, Ninja and Servant). Landmakers also randomly determine their jobs by rolling dice. The basic jobs are Astrogist, Warlock, Summoner, Doctor, Medic, Noble, Eunuch, Warrior, Executioner, Guard, Merchant, Daedalist (dungeon engineer), Master (inn manager), Cook, Happymancer (jester or entertainer), Bee, Hunter, Adventurer, Drone and Thief. Therefore, unique and funny characters such as a eunuch king or a thief vizier are often created.
By rolling dice, PC's kingdom's names are also determined, producing jocose or paradoxical names such as "St. Banana Bakufu", "Socialist Back-alley Kingdom", "United States of Ancient Fantasy" and so on.
Meikyu Days (迷宮デイズ , lit. Labyrinth Days) is the modern-day version of Meikyu Kingdom released in 2008.
